Gutted

I decided to make macaroons for my Mum for Mothers Day. I have never made them before but thought I would give them a try as they look so tasty and inviting and I had great plans for making them in various different colours. Sadly, it did not quite work out like that, when I piped them onto the tray they looked a bit flat, however, I put them in oven anyway. When they came out they looked okay so I thought I would be able to get away with it, but the little buggers would not come of the baking parchment no matter what I did. I see why some recipes say to use rice paper. Looks like its back to the drawing board.
