The Cove
It has been a pressured week both work wise and domestically. With father in law out of hospital we have been trying not to get emotionally involved with his care. If he can't cope without us then alternatives will have to be considered. So far with district nurse visiting he has made a good effort at it. He's on his own this weekend with no help, so a quick morning call was done before we went out for a walk. Too late for a long march so we pottered about Silverdale and Arnside and visited the wild daffodil spot on the coast path. Maybe just a week early for the best show. I was going to blip them but I've done them before 2 years on the trot so this is a shot looking from Lancashire into Cumbria on the coastal path along the edge of Morecambe Bay. It was warm and spring like and the light was soft. This section of coast has seen the salt marsh grassland eroded right back to the limestone sea cliffs in the last few years. It is not so long ago that you could have walked all along the coast here on lovely springy sea washed turf.
