IJzeren Kaap

Means Iron Beacon. It is a very old shipping beacon on one of our neighbor islands called Texel. This beacon was built in 1854 and formed together with a church on Texel a fire-less leading line for shipping. It is still there and also an attraction for children as you can see my daughter trying to hang upside down.
