Social: Togetherness

Tired after yesterday's trip to see Florence at Newcastle, so a bit of a lazy day.

In this age of social networking, and Facebook, Flickr etc, I think we often forget the most social thing of all, simply enjoying one another's company and the simple pleasures of a wonderful view.

Friars Crag this morning, and I found this couple sitting on the bench, enjoying the view, (they even offered me the bench!). Surely one of the best views in England, south over Derwentwater to the Borrowdale fells in the distance, and what a beautiful morning, such a contrast to later in the day.
