Day eighty-six: sanctuary
I love the color purple and really wanted to take some photos of blooming wisteria this year. I asked around where the best places for blooming wisteria were...turns out a town 20ish miles away has arbors with wisteria. So, out to West Point I drove.
I stayed out there for almost 2 hours taking photos, enjoying the time with my dogs, and watching children run and play in the public park. I took many photos today. I wish I could post them all!
During a point in time, I just sat down on the bench and soaked up the smells of the blooming wisteria, the sounds of laughing children, and just general peace of the place.
Upon coming home, I was making dinner and listening to my iPod. Seal's "Love's Divine" came on first, and I just smiled.
I am going to remember this day and this place as a sanctuary for my soul, the love I am giving to myself, and the love that has been lavishly given.
