so i sat down at the mac to fiddle with my cv and two hours later, i'm feeling a bit cross eyed and have realised that my evening seems to have disappeared. not sure if the cv is any better. wont send it til i've had a chance to re-read it in the morning.

am going to try to the drip, drip approach to getting to grips with my current backlog - i'll just do a bit of random updating and will eventually get through it. it's bit of a bum as i had just caught up again when we went on holiday for 2 weeks. so i've been sulking about that and suddenly two more weeks have passed.

managed to get the kids to write their thank you letters to granny (also two weeks late), to find the car tax renewal (one day late), and go skating (on time but raining in one place so we moved to another, temporarily drier spot).
