By the river

We've had a lovely afternoon, walking from Bridge of Allan (a village north of Stirling) to Dunblane, a few miles further north(ish). We sort of followed the Darn walk, except we got a bit confused by the directions so ended up making the first bit up and rejoining the path by the river a bit later on. It was quite muddy but really sunny and not cold at all. Even though it was fairly leisurely I still feel like I had a good workout.

I was spoilt for choice for a photo as the whole walk was beautiful so there were lots I could have chosen. In the end I went for this one, right at the end of our walk (just before the cup of tea!), by the river in Dunblane. Beautiful.
