Roses are red, primroses are blue...?

Had eye test in town today and ordered new pair of specs - round wire-framed ones. Fed up with taking off reading glasses, putting on distance ones, swapping them over etc etc so have gone for varifocals to wear all the time. Had coffee in Waterstones, a bit of a wander round then home. Off to Ukulele Owners Support Group shortly. No public performance tonight after all - wrong week! Our debut will be next Sunday - so that gives us an opportunity for another rehearsal (and don't we need it!).
