Mother's Day

Went round my brother's house for Mother's day lunch with our parents and his fiancée's parents. I was tasked with making dessert - which had to be gluten free. I went with a fairly easy option and made a gluten-free victoria sponge. It came out pretty well - perhaps a little 'dense' in places, and a bit breaky (this is mostly down to the properties of the gluten-free flour) but regardless, it still tasted delicious - especially with the madagascan vanilla double cream inside!
