Bad Daughter Day, Wonderful Mum Day

These are the flowers for my Mum, still in a jug on the kitchen windowsill.

Mum and Dad were due to come over today for tea but I felt so bloody rubbish that I phoned and asked if we could do it tomorrow.

Of course she said 'of course' but that's because she is lovely and her family's health and happiness is more important to her than her own, which is why I should have been thanking her today with flowers.
