Great is Thy Faithfullness
These were the words (from our favourite hymn) in my mind as we drove home into an amazing sunset at the end of a great weekend away.
We went down to Oxford on Friday evening to have a weekend with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson Reuben. I know you've not seen him before so here he is having a nap on grandad's knee!
So, a chilled weekend with family celebrating, amongst other things, our son Andrew's new job. He loves his job and the international charity he works for and this is a great recognition of his work and skills and the commitment he has to them. Well done Andrew.
And a skype with our amazing daughter in Zambia this afternoon, loving her work and calling to that country. It's great to see her and amazing to be able to share in this way. And great that she can see Reuben's progress.
And Mother's day too, when we can be grateful for those who have taught and led us in our early years, and be grateful to them for all they do for us.
And the sunset? So bright it was difficult to drive into, but once the sun had gone down behind the hills, there was an amazing light over the whole area.
If I'd not already planned my blip, I may have been tempted to stop and try a snap.
Hope your weekend's were as good as this.
