View from the harbour cafe

We went across to the East Neuk (of Fife) to visit our friends Tony and Isabel. They live in the highly picturesque village of Crail. After a lovely walk that took in the kirk, a small woodland and a stretch of the coastal path we ended up in the cafe just above the harbour where we sat out in the glorious sunshine and admired the view.

Just left of centre is the Isle of May and far right in the distance is the Bass Rock, probably visible in the enlarged view. In the foreground are two happy chaps who had just eaten large slices of "warm, double chocolate cake" with their coffee.

Later on we did more eating and drinking and much blethering. Most enjoyable!
