Lent

Jacob gave up sweets for his new years resolution, and he has stuck to it.( albeit encouraged by the reward we have said we would give him if he keeps to it)

He then decided he was giving up chocolate for lent ! (madness!)

Now this is a normal 9 year old boy. He LOVES sweets and chocolates.

His sister loves to 'rub it in' at every possible opportunity.
Today we went to the little old fashioned sweet shop in Southwell. Millie spent AGES choosing her pick 'n' mix - in fact at one point the lady working in there offered her a Saturday job.


Think he may fall off the wagon soon.
