This is where we should hide them

Another day of celebrating Madame and as Arnold Brown used to say, and why not. Breakfast in bed it was and a variety of hand made gifts and some attempt at providing peace and quiet. This should probably involve tying up children in a far away garden, such is the high maintenance currently on show from at least two thirds of the younger part of the family.

The sun was warming our backs today again.

I had a bath with child #2 this morning which was ratrher amusing.

'Do you know what my favourite thing is about having a bath and also when we go on holiday?' I asked.

'You get to spend more time with your children?' came the reply.

'Nearly,' I said trying to think on my feet quickly 'I feel that I am nice and warm all over .... with my children.'

Early start again tomorrow, so early to bed I think.
