Kokoro!

Some of the best musical or theatre performances have been in out of the way places with fairly low key advertising. Tonight's was no exception.

Billed as Kokoro! Japanese Ghost Stories and Tales from the Heart this was an evening with Richard Berry (Storyteller), Hiroko Sue (Koto and Vocals) and 'Stainless' Steve Garrett (Guitar, Mandolin and Vocals) in a church hall in Pontcanna in Cardiff.

It was a delightful evening with Welsh and Japanese stories and an wonderful pieces of music on Koto and Guitar. The music for Koto was composed by Hiroko Sue and inspired by Welsh Landscapes and places along the A470.

For an encore, Hiroko and Steve played traditional Welsh dance tunes on Koto and Guitar.
