So we got robbed at the start of the year and last week we got our replacement Mac. Everything was backed up and the transfer went smoothly for everything except iPhoto. I tried everything I could think of and everything the Apple guys on the end of the phone could think of but was left with the prospect of reorganising and tagging 30000 photos in the new iPhoto.

Bugger that I said.

Lucky for me and those around me I found iPhoto Manager. For US$20 (about NZ30c at the moment) it sorted it all out, letting me create a new iPhoto library with all the metadata, tags, folders, etc.

Fan-bloody-tastic.
