ST PADDY'S DAY!!!

Today was an excellent day.

As soon as I got up the Irish music was blaring and the green accessorising commenced.

Carina and I left just before 1 to head to The Dubliner to watch the rugby. Rodrigo and Helena had to meet us there as Rodrigo spends a ridiculous amount of time in the shower and so wasn't ready on time. But when we arrived neither the irish bar or the sports bar beside it were able to get the rugby on TV. Absolutely gutted!

We didn't let that dampen our spirits too much and headed to a restaurant called Chicken Wings..original haha..for some chicken. Considering none of us had eaten anything so far it was a very enjoyable meal. Afterwards we moved next door for some midday cocktails which definitely went down a treat. We finished the afternoon off in Zona Sur chilling in the sun with some beers and had the most amazing frozen yoghurt before heading back to the apartment to freshen up.

Once we returned I reapplied my green makeup and was ready to hit the next Irish bar in a matter of minutes. During this same time Helena and Rodrigo managed to fall asleep, I suppose I can't blame them really as napping has become part of our daily routine lol.

Anyways Carina, Danny and I headed to the Irish pub for some green beer, chunky chips and nachos. Lots of Irish music was being played and I was definitely in my element. Sharoll met us there and we stayed for about an hour or 2 before getting a taxi with Rodrigo and Helena to The Dubliner, again. I had booked a table and it was perfect, with a view of the rest of the bar and the band. I moved onto drinking Bailies and we got some more food and green beer. We also managed to get a large number of photos taken aswell as a video interview which was absolutely hilarious. We stayed for a good while, watched some of the the live band and left shortly after it began as it started to make us feel sleepy. Back to the other Irish bar it was!

There I met Roisin and the other 3 went home.I ended up staying there with her and her sister and friends until 4 in the morning. I had such a great St. Paddy's night there with lots of people in green, even more green beer, free super long cups, crazy dancing and lots of retro+irishy music. For being away from home, it couldn't have been much better!!
