Giving this a go...

DW Stadium

2nd stadium in 1 weekend. The DW Stadium in Wigan.
We spent the morning wandering about Salford Quays, went 4 stops and back on the tram just because the boys wanted to and went to the Lowry centre.
Then drove up to Wigan to watch Wigan Warriers v London Broncos. Wigan are one of the top teams and we're not so we weren't expecting to win. We did put on a great performance and were ahead for a while. A few silly mistakes and they let in 1 silly try when the whole team turned their backs on Sam Tomkins which everyone knows is just crazy. But overall they were good and much improved on a few weeks ago. It ended 42-30, not ideal to let anyone put 42 past you but there was only 2 tries in it.

I love going to Broncos away games. As most of the teams are from Yorkshire or Lancashire they have to travel quite far to get to every way game. This (along with the fact they don't have a huge fan base anyway) means there's hardly any fans go to away games. At this game the total crowd was 12,300 and out of that about 15 were Broncos fans! It makes it special and we always get a great welcome from the home teams. The team always show they appreciate us too.

Ross had a nice birthday too.

edit: apologies for the slope, I don't think it was really like that!
