Battered Daff & Blue Skies

Just a quick blip this afternoon with a daffodil that my son's friend gave me, it was a little battered by the time we got home but the blue sky as a backdrop made for some pretty colours.

I had an OK kind of day, nothing mindblowing but nothing too terrible either. I did a bit of shopping, a bit of work, a bit of housework and my ex neighbour popped in for lunch and a gossip.

I'm just about to feed the food pit that is my son (seriously, where does he put it all???)
