New shoots

There are new shoots on my now very brown and non-white hydrangea. Today has been cool but sunny and the promise of spring is definitely in the air.

Last night, as I left for work, I saw Venus and Jupiter in the night sky, even though they are slowly parting company. Last week had been too cloudy to see them.
