New Views of Montrose

Stumbled across this vista of Montrose whilst out for a walk with Cass and the dogs. We headed along a path I usually mountain bike on but found a route off to the left which I hadn't seen before and it led to a wonderful elevated view down over Montrose with the North Esk in the foreground and Scurdie Ness lighthouse to the rear.

All the way along the walk you only get views to the west because of the woods but it was great finding this path opening out to present a view of Montrose from a completely different angle than what you usually get to see. And on the most lovely early spring day too!
