Clints Crags, with Bassenthwaite lake behind
Can I start by thanking everyone for their comments, stars, and faves, which enabled me to hit the spotlight again - much appreciated.
Todays blip is from a little-known and very small limestone pavement to the north of Bassenthwaite lake. I love this tree, particularly the way the tree points to the left, and the limestone below points to the right, it seems to create a tension. Winds in the lakes today were fairly stiff (about 15 - 20mph, so calm water was out of the question; but the winds on Clints crags were pretty cold - it certainly didn't feel spring-like today
