I am cutting out starchy carbs as they seem to disagree with me and to make me so bloated every time I eat. Since stopping eating them I no long look 5 months pregnant by the evening. Weird! I am eating protein, lots of veg and good fats. These are. Bread subsitute made from cream cheese and eggs...weird right? They look ace....taste like cheesy bread BUT the texture is totally weird! They are foamy inside....the jury is out. Not sure!
I also made some low carb brownies with ground almonds and dessicated coconut instead of flour. Nice!
I'm cutting out sugar too, with these subsitutes I can make with sweetener, it seems pointless to eat sugar. And most importantly, my sugar cravings and carb cravings have disappeared....if I don't have them, my body doesn't want some, so far anyway. Sugar/carbs are addictive apparently...perhaps now I can stop sabotaging my gym workouts with unhealthy binge eating in the evening...
