This Is A Local Pub, For Local People

This is our local, the Halfway House so called because it's half way between Exeter and Taunton (not sure if that's the real reason but it's as good a theory as any!)

The food here is amazing as is the Otter Ale they seem to have in plentiful supply, although I've had to cut down on the latter after a few too many drunken evenings with friends. The welcome at the Halfway is always as warm as their log fire, ok I'm starting to sound like an advert for the place now but it really is a proper local's pub and was one of the reasons we chose Willand when buying our house.
