M25 J5

The downside of a weekend at Mum's is the Monday morning trip back round the M25 to the A3 for Guildford, and on to Farnborough where I work. So although it's not exactly an inspiring photo, I decided to blip this typical view from my driving seat of the queue at junction 5 where the M26 from Kent meets the M25 from the Dartford Crossing.

In order to add some interest to the journey I often mentally tag a vehicle with some distinctive feature, and then watch out for it along the way. The most frustrating observation is of the lumbering large lorry which you pass at Junction 4, and then at Junction 6 and once again Junction 10. However, you can have a giggle at the BMW driver who weaves in and out of the lanes, overtaking and undertaking, headlights flashing, and yet manage to make no better progress.
