A most frustrating day......!

I took a day off work today as I needed to take my son to a college " workshop" where, according to the letter, he would meet his tutors and fellow students. His offer of a place on the course would be dependant on exam results and attendance at this "workshop".

What a complete and utter waste of time it was. We came away no wiser than when we arrived.
The words "p*ss up" and "brewery"came to mind.
And to cap it all the Memorial Art Gallery,next door to the college, where I'd planned to have a quick look round, had a note on the door- CLOSED ON MONDAYS.
