Happy Birthday Adrian
The day started bright and sunny with lots of photographic opportunities but was marred by my train being delayed by emergency engineering works.
I grabbed a few images before going into the office, as I never know if I will get another opportunity.
This is looking into a building on Ropemaker Street.
Ropemaker Street. was a originally a large open space just outside the City wall, where rope makers would ply their trade and the area became a rope walk for making ropes.
Now it is a street of very modern office blocks.
This building fascinates me. You are looking into the building but also seeing the reflections across the road.
I can't describe easily what you are looking at inside. Suspended on wires above what I assume in an air duct are lots of things that appear to vibrate occasionally. I like to stand and watch them. I doubt that anyone else notices. Inside the building they may make a noise. Does anyone know what they are?
The day ended as it began, with a delay getting home due to an earlier fatality at Surbiton.
It was my nephew Adrian's birthday today and I forgot it. This blip is therefore for him. Apologies sister
