Zitronenkuchen

This is Frank, one of the first friends we made in Vancouver. He is German and has been coming round to practice his English, which more recently has involved us baking cakes and eating treats! Today we made Lemon Curd Cake a la Delia (Smith). Frank is leaving the bright lights of Vancouver, after tomorrow you'll find him rounding up lamas on horseback, out in the middle of nowhere experiencing true cold and hopefully having fun!
