Somewhere I would live

Walton-on-Thames is a fairly average place with shopping precincts, bad parking and classic suburban streets and a lack of spirit.

However tucked away by the river are some real gems, this is the old manor house and is on my list of places to live (subject to some minor funding challenges of course!)

There is restoration work in progress but it is a beautiful building and sadly only a couple of hundred yards from some architectural monstrocities
