Facades in Rennes
We took a train this morning from the Gare Montparnasse to Rennes (in Brittany) to visit our friends Nine and Didier. The city is well served by fast and comfortable TGVs which leave every hour and take a bit more than two hours (nearly 4 hours by car).
After a delicious lunch we returned to town and visited the Musée des Beaux-Arts--which we much enjoyed (I would rate is somewhat higher than that in Lille at the end of January). These facades are directly opposite the museum; the wall in the foreground is an underpass. The fine details are best in large.
