Spring Equinox

The lady Myfannwy and I were having our early morning cup of tea when we heard a Cuckoo proudly telling one and all that he had arrived in the Axarquia.
We thought he was very clever to arrive on the first day of the Spring Equinox.
But with Mount Maroma covered with snow this morning, maybe he should have timed his arrival a little later.
(( I'm assuming it was a "he" for obvious reasons :-D ))
