Anyway. It looks like the flash has got a strobo-function. Didn't read the manual, but i guess it's frequency, number of flashes (ofcourse depending on the frequency and the shutter time i presume) and something that regulates how much light i get (sync-speed?). None too complicated if you figure it out. Now to find a use for it :)
