In Full Bloom And Not A Sneeze In Sight
I went to be allergy tested today. I had hoped that my picture of the day would be my back, complete with grid markings and redness and angry swellings, where I had reacted to the various allergens they had pricked me with.
I have always been allergic to mold, and had suspected that I had recently developed an allergy to my feline friends and also to the garden.
However according to my back I was allergic to nothing but the histamine control! So they injected a larger dose of a dozen allergens into my arm. Still nothing. My arm was as smooth and reaction free as my back. I felt such a fraud.
So with no picture of the day and no allergies, I ventured footloose and allergy free into the garden and photographed my good old standby, the magnolia bush, which is now just about in full bloom. After the terrific thunderstorm that blew through at 5am today, I was quite pleased to see it still had all it's petals.
