A little bit of heaven

Books, of almost any description are in my top three favourite things - I might even get a little bit excited at the sight of a Haynes manual - no really...a design classic.

Met a lovely friend who I haven't seen for ages on the Southbank this evening who whisked me off to a Polari soiree to hear one of our favourite authors, Patrick Gale read a bit from his new novel. Also on the bill were Sophia Blackwell and Justin Torres who are both irritatingly young, gorgeous and talented.

There are now even more wonderful books in the world that I will never live long enough to read, but I'll give it a damn good go.
