Celebrating life

White heat

or, in fact, red heat but this EB taken on the train tonight with the ipad again made me think of Harold Wilson's most famous speech.

At the 1963 Labour conference (less than a year before he became Labour PM), Wilson talked about the implications of scientific and technological change, arguing that "the Britain that is going to be forged in the white heat of this revolution will be no place for restrictive practices or for outdated measures on either side of industry".

Stirring stuff.

Don't know if it's de rigeur to blip something so obviously processed????
