Ears

I had an appointment with an ENT at Oregon Health Science University today. The last two years, I have had chronic problems with labrynthitis and Eustachian tube dysfunction. Both cause vertigo, balance problems, ear pain and popping in my ears. The ENT suspects my Eustachian tube is too narrow which is impacting pressure equalization in both ears and leading to inflammation. Unfortunately, there is no way to medically correct the Eustachian tube. The only solutions are one, to place tubes in my ears which will impact my ability to wear hearing aids and two, try a nasal steroid spray to control inflammation in the tube. Guess I'm back on the spray.
