controlled burn

The fire chief stopped in while I was milking this evening, to let me know, they were about to burn the neighbors field. I called to warn Laurie , but didn't think to call Margot and Alex next door.Margot saw the smoke and flames and thought our barn was ablaze. She broke all the eggs she had just gathered in her shirt while running to get the truck .
