The Old Liverpool Hospital

This is a picture of the old Liverpool Hospital taken through the railings. It is a beautiful building designed by the Government Architect of the time, Francis Greenaway. It is now the TAFE (technical college). Unfortunately the hospital was re built in 1959 and is an ugly uninviting building. There is a new wing which is an improvement on the 1959 building but not as elegant as this Victorian building.
