One lonely shop!
I found this hair dressing shop next to Huyton Train station which is the dead end of Blacklow Brow.
Having photographed the pub; nearby see the link, I noticed this shop; I couldn't decide whether it is actually open for business or not. Certainly not at 1.30pm I think.
I haven't been up this road for at least 15 years; its a mixture of architectural styles re: the houses, the road is almost none existent pot holes fading yellow lines.
Which to be fair to the local council is a bit unusual...maybe nobody pays their CT.
Re: yesterday's blip the price of petrol at Asda is £1.35 per litre! now how this compares with years ago I don't know but in 1967 I paid 50pence for a gallon!!
No help from George today I see; except for the hauliers and if you smoke heaven help you at a 37pence rise per packet from 18.00 to-night.
I have a dear friend who smokes; she can't afford it believe me so I just hope now she will give up.
I rather dull day to-day...bfn Penny.
