Enjoying the sunrise

Ah the power of photography - to take a moment in time and freeze it.

Despite what the image appears to be, this was simply a happy accident of various circumstances to make a passable picture. My girl and I bike to work whenever we can. Bringing our cameras along for the ride add a new dynamic to the ride. It's a miserable war of attrition - taking shots one-handed, barely able to aim, much less compose. If it weren't for digital photography, I would not be able to do what I'm doing, and I'm so appreciative

I love this shot, she looks like she's contemplating the sunrise. She's so photogenic.
