Lunch Time Racing

Really chilly wind, down on the pier today, blowing straight in off the sea! Perfect for the young people from the college out sailing, they were speeding along with the wind behind them! I thought these two might collide but they were grand, that's Cape Clear Island in the far distance and the obelisk is on the eastern end of Long Island.
I've never sailed before, it looks quite exhilarating! Kayaking is more my thing, I like the relaxed pace, hugging the shoreline, observing sea creatures, visiting deserted islands in Roaring Water bay, hopping off for a swim to cool down and of course a bit of blipping!
