Solar Bark

Emad is the owner of the Hatchepsut Restaurant, at the end of my street.

A really polite and placid man, who is always so happy and greets you with a wave and a smile.

His place is popular with people, as it is right on the river Nile, facing the Old Winter Palace and King Farouks' bedroom no less! I nipped in to see a friend and noticed Emad in the corner. I have never seen him just 'Sitting' as so many do here. He is always busy, preparing food, making improvements on the restaurant and today, painting a Solar Bark that his friend had made. He has a stand outside the restaurant where he is selling Egyptian items.

Great to see entrepreneurs at work in stead of 'Waiting' for things to Happen.
