heading for home

Stella has a funny habit on walks. As soon as she's decided she's had enough she turns on her heel and starts to retrace her steps back to the house/car/wherever. She'd already tried it once this morning as we strolled through Wicken Fen Nature Reserve but I wanted to make sure she had a good while out as I have no idea whether I have to leave her at the specialist vets tomorrow or how much exercise or fresh air she'll get while in their care.

We continued to this point and then I followed her back :) Quick detour (I say quick but got a tad lost trying what I wrongly thought was a shortcut!) for a geocache and then home. I've even cut the grass but now my feet and back have truly had enough and are demanding a soak in a bubble bath.

& thank you again to everyone who has shown concern for Stella recently. Given her more often than not bright demeanor I can't think the specialist is going to find anything horrific but I do want to get to the bottom of what's causing her not so bright episodes. Hopefully will have a new update for tomorrow's blip.
