Carlsbad Caverns...

...all I can say is WOW! Carlsbad Caverns was truly amazing...it was as if I stepped out of this world and into another! I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life.

The limestone cave is in a fossil reef that was laid down by sea 250 million years ago. Location is south eastern New Mexico and contains the deepest chambers in the entire world - its breathtaking! The cave contains over 100 caverns and is about 1 1/2 miles long and 700 feet deep...and is home to over 1 million bats.

Noah and I had an great time - took about four and a half hours to walk all the way down - took the elevator back up...next time, taking a tripod ;)
