Gone Away

I don't understand the attraction to crocuses.

Yes, crocuses are the first flowers up every spring and who doesn't love the season's first blooms? But, a crocus bloom only last 3 days maximum and then they are gone again until next spring. I like to enjoy my flowers for at least a couple weeks every season.

In case you were wondering, the crocuses were already planted in my garden when we bought the house.
