Terry's Wood working shop.
This was going to be yesterday's blip.....it was a glorious day and i went on the blip hunt around the place. Taking shots of the red dogwood, the beautiful wooden structure that makes up this house...with bits of oldman's beard growing here and there! Maybe another day! What i enjoyed the most, was exploring the inside of Terry's wood working shop. Such a great collection of stuff!
Then the modum on the computer gave up the ghost....so no connection, till really late, and only on Terry's computer. I decided to forgo the image.
So today, after a morning in town, swimming, shopping and having my hair cut.....i went back in to the workshop and reshot the image! I like the combination of textures here!
We have a very busy few days ahead of us....we are holding our annual spring meditation retreat this weekend. Means that there will be 18 of us here for 2 days! Also means lots of cleaning, organizing and tidying up around here and in the cabins. It is a wonderful experience, we spend most of the weekend in silence, other than the dharma talks that take place. We do sitting and walking meditation, and i'm hoping for good weather so we can do most of our walking meditations outside! The food is always wonderful....everyone contributes to a particular meal.....a great example of community living!
Back to cleaning :)
