Low Light ~ Floodlights II
Another red letter day at work today. After making the staff responsible redundant, the ever decreasing group of legacy development staff were advised that we will have to take on board responsibility for their areas in addition to our own increasing workloads, areas for which none of us have any knowledge or experience. Grrr...
Not much else to say about today. This shot is the Meadowbank floodlights taken from Holyrood Park.
Thanks for the comments on yesterday's blip. As expected, there was a mix of reactions to the image. While I was shooting all I was thinking about was getting the shot but I didn't really think about the poor wee frog until later. It's funny, because it's not something I would even consider if I saw a bird eat a grub or a spider eat an insect, but does our reaction change depending on the prey? Do we connect more with some creatures than others? I wonder if that's the way natural history cameramen think about things they see.
Tired tonight, so I might not make it back to catch up tonight, but I'll try. If not, hope everyone has a great Thursday tomorrow.
