flashes like lights

By Degna

I can feel a hard day's night coming on.

Spent the day working in a secondary school delivering creative writing workshops, first to pupils then to the teachers. I think some of them enjoyed it and there was some good work produced but it was bloody knackering. Some of the teachers even left the CPD session smiling (and I apparently charmed the CPD Assassin) so that can't be bad.

Things learned. Sometimes giving people a choice means they might choose not to. Some of the writing skills I take for granted aren't quite so simple for non writers. Also, triple the time allowed for exercises - cajoling and encouraging and explaining can take longer than expected. Much longer.

Glass of wine then bed I think.
