Nasty

I found this weight, bait and line just carelessly discarded on the beach where families were walking and dogs were playing. It makes me really angry to see this left to be someone/something else's problem. It was close to the mouth of the river were swans, ducks, cormorants etc. swim and was potentially hazardous to them also. What happened to responsibility?

The weight was heavy and about 5cm with sharp prongs jutting out about 4cm. Could have been very painful.
