my day off

it was lovely when i got up this morning (ok, 10.30, but still am), i thought i'd go out for the afternoon, wander and snap etc. lying on the sofa watching some 'ncis' boxset over lunch and the heavens opened... it's rare that i can catch the weight of water but i don't seem to have done too badly here, despite nil enhancement. bah.

my minneapolis pal reappeared online last night after a three-week absence, hurrah. we're trying a photo challenge - take a pic at the same time or of the same theme on the same day. today was an easy one to start with: whatever you're doing at 1pm local time, take a picture. i was lying on the sofa, so not thrilling, but hey that was only day one. it could be a good blip assignment tho, if we trust each other to be honest about timing?
